ABOUT ME

Having worked as a paralegal in a personal injury law firm for more than 13 years, I decided it was time for a change. While I enjoyed the work that I was doing, I wanted a career which would allow me to work from my home. In my search, I discovered proofreading. This career allows me to work from my home, or if I want to travel, I am able to work wherever I go. I have a Certificate of Completion from the Transcript Proofreading: Theory and Practice™ course. My training was based on the use of guidelines from Morson’s English Guide for Court Reporters, Margie Wakeman Wells’ book entitled Court Reporting: Bad Grammar/Good Punctuation, and The Gregg Reference Manual, just to name a few.
